error binding to local port

Post by dotslasher »

error binding to local port for leaf.server.tdl[IP.address.here]:Can't assign requested address

is this a problem on the hub or the leaf (vibes in this case).

if so how can it be fixed because they were linked properly for a few days but i woke up and found that the leaf was disconnected and couldnt be reconnected.

You specified a wrong IP address.

heh no :P because it worked before, it just didnt work anymore today, then after a few hours the servers relinked to eachother without anything being changed.

(maybe due to high traffic on that port? or a DDos attack?)

Or a changing dynamic IP. Or mantinance on your shell.
Why the hell can't my signature be empty?

ip is static so i think it will be a maintinance on the shell, but they havent notified anyone wich they usually do when they work on the shells. Well if it happens again i'll let u know.
