/who +h hidden.host.here

Post by schnappie »

Hey,

Is there any reason why I cannot /who hidden hostnames as an oper. I kinda of think one should be able to, since having to do a whois to get the real IP of a user before being able to /who to see if he has clones or whatever seems kind of pointless.

If it's a *.IP hostname you probably have to use /who +i[/i] rather than h.

Try /who +i <hostname-here>

/who *hidden.hostname.net works

Just not with the +h or +i options. Probably done by the coders on purpose since it's not really their host/ip?

Strange, I tested things here and it worked fine at first. It doesn't now though.
/who *hidden.hostname.net works
Hm, perhaps I was doing that instead.
