* Connecting to onesikgypo.servebeer.com (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Connection refused)

i checked the logs and theres no mention of why its their, nehelp?

It's usually not possible to connect to your WAN IP from the internal network. You have to use an external computer to do that.

If you are already trying that, read the FAQ: http://www.vulnscan.org/UnrealIrcd/faq/#85

Hi, well i got someone else to try and connect, again connection refused, also i DID have a router, so i went into my config and checked the listen ports i had which were 6667 , 6697 and 8067. So i have forwarded these ports to my computer, but still no go, connection refused, and still nothing in the logs. (P.s all firewalls have been disabled...including the XP one)

So i dont know what to do :S

EDIT: Are There Any Other Ports i might have 2 forward ?

Ive fixed the problem - it seems that i was using the wrong ip address, i was using the one i got when i went to http://www.whatismyipaddress.com but i found another site which can Cloak Ur DNS and tells u an ip, i noticed on that site my ipaddress was different, and now i dont get connection refused :)
