Help i have the MOTD but the server dont read the motd file

[2:00am] ERROR > 422: MOTD File is missing

make sure the filename in the unreal.conf matches up with the file in the directory ,

.conf = motd.blah
dir = motd.blah.txt

That wont match hence it doesnt load . IF you are using windows you need to save the file in notepad using Save As and specify the file type as "All Files" . Then it will save with the extension you want on the end .

i see that you are connected to the server. No problem in that case, that "error" means that it can't find any content in the file. Just add some content (even a space) and that should be done.
