unreal process crashes after first connection attempt to it

Post by toon »

Hi,

My ircd was running stable for a while now but since the box it runs on had a reboot, i cant seem to keep it running anymore.
After i run "./unreal start" it says ircd was loaded successfully. But once I connect to it:

* Unable to connect to server (Host disconnected)

and the process is killed on the server.

Any idea what could cause this?

Thanks for any help you can give,
Toon

what version of unreal are you running?
if you are running some 3rd party modules, or services tell us which ones,
please take a look at ircd.log and see if there is some error,
if there is something, a message of error saying whats going on please
post it here,
the web for bugs is the following,
http://bugs.unrealircd.org/
but since we dont know if its a bug, my advice is to post the error if exists,
and wait for an unreal supporter to tell you what to do,
try to be as descriptive as you can, so the people around here can help
you quicker.

running Unreal 3.2 with no extra mods or anything.
The ircd.log is clean as well no error messages. :(

You should upgrade to the latest version (3.2.3 or wait a few days till 3.2.4. is released).

What operating system are you running Unreal on?
If you don't make mistakes, you aren't really trying.
