Please read the documentation:

(Hint: set::static-quit)

My apologies for bringing up a topic that's about 2 1/2 months old.
What I'm wondering, and haven't been able to find, is a method of having a quit message that is used only if the person quitting doesn't have a set quit message in their client.
Using the static-quit shows the static message, even if the person quitting has a message, and using the prefix-quit shows both messages.
Ideally, if this is possible, how can I let just the quit message that the person has be used, or just the set quit message if they don't have one.

This cannot be done...

If you don't set any of the 2 options, people who don't send a quit message will exit with the message "Quit:" or "Client Exited"

Thanks for the fast response. Looks like I'll stick with a prefixed quit message, and see if I can phrase something that will look good both before a set quit message as well as on it's own.
