Need help..

Hello.. I'm new in Unrealircd world .. and I am attempting to make my ircd work only for my java chat users and I would like to forbid connections to the server throughout the clients such as: mirc, xchat, eggdrops and other..

Can someone here help me with that? Is it possible and how?

the ban version {} block is your best bet; it'll allow you to ban versions other than the java client software

This is not so easy.Because the client s version reply can be changed easily.So if you really want to this, you have modify your java applet also unrealircd.Like Conference Rooms does (it s java and it s daemon)

yeah its pretty tuff .. but yeah .. ban version , and add only ur java applets ident in allow list ....
