server crash - fatal error

The ircd crashed last night with a fatal error message to email 2 files to someplace ... unfortunately I missed that email address.

Can someone advise me as to what that email address would be.

And the files are wircd.something.core and wircd.something.mdmp or somethng like that....

I'll fire that over when I get back home.
Do I get a response as to what caused the crash so I might be able to prevent it in the future?

This happened yet again.

I have forwarded the files. Is there a chance I could get a reply back as to the cause of these sudden crashes?

I've not received anything. Did you do the email confirmation thing (you have to reply to an automatic email you get). Can always CC to [email protected]
Anyway, don't expect a response soon. I'm off for now.

emails TO you are bouncing (or at least at that time). anyway, i got your files, and this was my mail back 2wks ago:

your crash is in a 3rd party module (m_nochan)
so not our fault.
so just getting rid of it should solve it

m_nochan has been declared broken for quite some time by it's coder.

Yes we removed it and it and havent had a crash since.

Hi, friends i have the same problem, i don`t know if you talk about 3.2.6 but 3.2.7 on Windows has that problem i can`t /rehash anytime because /rehash kills UnrealIRCD, always get this message "UnrealIRCD has encountered a fatal error Debugging information has been dumped to wircd......" and like you say about m_nochan i delete it but the problem still now im going to send a mail to that diretion like the Error popup says, however if you have any info that help me thank you

Make an account if you have not already
Click on Report Issue at the top
Give us any details you can
Attach the wircd.<numbers>.core file from your UnrealIRCd folder to the bug report

Someone will read the report and get back to you

i have solved it, the problem was m_staff.dll i delete it and now i can /rehash
