HT-Mode: the value

Post by seraphim »

The command:
/htm to <value>

Now i dont know what i have to set at the value, maybe kbits/sec? or kb/sec?

What is meant with this value?

Docs:
htm <option>
-TO <value> Tell HTM at what incoming rate to activate HTM

Just to note, kbit and kb is basically the same thing, lower case kb or Kb is generally referred to as kilobits, KB is kilobytes. So I've always assumed they were measuring by kilobits.

Generally the default is like, 35kb/s or so I believe? I'd have to imagine you aren't going to exceed that default unless you are putting 250+ very active clients on a server, if not more than that if I recall correctly.

Only a number, you don't need to specify 'kbit/s' after or anything, just a single number.

So if you wanted to put it at 40, you'd simply type 40.
