Connection Issues

Post by WilliamWIkked » Sun Jun 20, 2004 3:35 am

I don't know if anyone has had this problem since upgrading to 3.2 final or not, but it seems it only has started happening since then.

Every once in awhile, we get a lot of connection reset by peers. It happens on random servers and shouldn't be the shell provider, it hasn't happen previous to 3.2 final..

here's an example:

* +megabyte (Id@wikkedwire-2FAA253C.range81-154.btcentralplus.com) Quit (Connection reset by peer)
* %MojoMan (vze366@wikkedwire-30C203F1.prov.east.verizon.net) Quit (Connection reset by peer)
* +lvbrat (clcol_78@wikkedwire-3FE271BA.lv.lv.cox.net) Quit (Connection reset by peer)
* %maxigaf (maxigaf@wikkedwire-1B0DB042.l6.c4.dsl.pol.co.uk) Quit (Connection reset by peer)
* MojoMan (vze366@wikkedwire-30C203F1.prov.east.verizon.net) has joined #Phoenix-Torrents
* maigaf (maxigaf@wikkedwire-1B0DB042.l6.c4.dsl.pol.co.uk) has joined #Phoenix-Torrents
* megabyte (Id@wikkedwire-2FAA253C.range81-154.btcentralplus.com) has joined #Phoenix-Torrents
* maigaf is now known as maxigaf
* lvchk2 (clcol_78@wikkedwire-3FE271BA.lv.lv.cox.net) has joined #Phoenix-Torrents

EDIT: Hm, I saw a similar thread in here, but the solution was win-bopm, this however is on a shell with the linux version of bopm..

Connection reset by peer means a peer reset the connection. The server is not a peer. What ever is causing this, it isn't Unreal.
