We just got a new router here and now all of a sudden my IRCd will not let anyone connect. My IRCd version is 3.2.7, My OS is Windows XP, and the router is LinkSys (not sure if you needed that but ill put that just in case). Can you help me get the Unreal to work again? PS they always get Connection Refused no matter which port

Well, I don't use a LinkSys, so I have no idea what precisely to do. Perhaps http://www.portforwarding.com does. Sorry, I can't bring you any further than that.

You can set that one computer to be a DMZ

A DMZ on a home network is basically the Computer or Server that will handle ALL traffic from the router unless otherwise forcefully forwarded directly to another computer from the router.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demilitari ... mputing%29

This is basically one way to avoid having to 'Set' forwarded ports to your system, but this will also basically open up your system to all traffic completely unless there are other forwardings set to other computers.

Most routers have some sort of DMZ system, either labeled as DMZ or perhaps as a Static NAT.
