Hello to all.
First, sorry for my english! is very bad.
I've the follow scenario, one server is a hub an another is leaf. I want that the users of my network connect via 6667 port and the user from others networks connect only via web, across 8067 port. I read the documentation but not find anything about a reference between listen and allow blocks. Is it possible?
I want make this restriction because i want that the users log in my portal.
I'm using Unreal 3.2.7, epona 1.5rc2 ( i manage the nickserv from the portal), and pjirc 1.82 custom.
Thank you for your time
Martin
Unrealircd Settings
Re: Unrealircd Settings
Since java is usually generally passes through a users real IP, an allow block isn't going to help much with that.
Using a CGI:IRC w/out a CGI:IRC block in the settings would work sorta, as it would use the IP of the server its being hosted on, so you would only need to 'allow' that IP for the webserver running the CGI:IRC script, just make sure you have CGI:IRC configured perhaps to do the old IP-in-ident settings, so you don't screw yourself in ban capabilities channel wise : P
