blablabla@blablabla == no Oper

Post by Kinight »

Okay,

I added the operator line for Network Admin Bobsmith to my host. Unfortunately, the server is saying No O-Lines for your host. I edited bob's address to mine. Any help!!?!?
EDIT: I also have my real Host (I THINK): no@rox-6A38733 <-- thats what comes up when i /part or /join on the server this is also what i have as the host for the bobsmith oline

no@rox-6A38733
That's not a real host. I think you have to learn something about 'cloaked hosts'.

That is until someone gets your user name and password somehow and causes trouble using it since there is no restriction on which hosts can use it :roll:

When you /whois yourself look for the line that shows your real host and IP. It's the host or IP in that line that should be used.
