After ./Config, it stops at:
checking types of args and return type for recvfrom...
It just freezes there, basically.
After a while a popup appears "Software caused connection abort", and when I reconnect I try again, and the same thing happens.
I checked the FAQ and the docs and I didn't see anything about this.
I'm running Debian 5 64 bit.
Cannot complete the Config setup when I run it.
Re: Cannot complete the Config setup when I run it.
This has nothing to do with UnrealIRCd.
The tool which Config runs is configure (autoconf) by GNU. Also, checking types of args and return type for recvfrom can take awhile. If it's taking a really really long time, it could be a problem on your OS. As to your connectivity problem, Software caused connection abort means your client aborted the connection.
It is possible your client or router is configured to time out inactive connections, and checking types of args and return type for frecvfrom is taking too long.
