eggdrop i-lined

Post by Landslyde »

I had my eggdrop on my IRCd server. Mover her to one of my other servers yesterday. She joins just fine. But as soon as she identifies to NickServ, she trips out and leaves. Now I know this isn't Anope support here. But I don't think this is an Anope (or eggdrop) issue. Here is what happens:

Code: Select all

[15:36:44] <Cyell> *** Slyde joined the party line.
[15:36:48] <Cyell> [16:37:00] #phreaks is active but has no ops :(
[15:37:16] <Slyde> .msg nickserv identify CyellPass
[15:37:16] <Cyell> [16:37:29] #Slyde# msg nickserv identify CyellPass
[15:37:17] <Cyell> Msg to nickserv: identify CyellPass
[15:37:19] <Cyell> [16:37:31] -NickServ ([email protected])- Password accepted - you are now recognized.
[15:37:19] <Cyell> [16:37:31] -HostServ ([email protected])- Your vhost of never.ask.why is now activated.
[15:37:19] <Cyell> [16:37:31] irc.xtremeirc.net has me i-lined (jumping)
[15:37:19] [irc.xtremeirc.net]: *** Notice -- Client exiting: Cyell ([email protected]) [Quit: i-lines suck]
[15:37:20] <Cyell> [16:37:32] Trying server irc.xtremeirc.net:6667
[15:37:20] <Cyell> [16:37:32] Connected to irc.xtremeirc.net
What's this i-line thing? Why, all of a sudden, is my IRCd i-lining her? I've searched the Forum but cldn't find anything.

To conclude this post, I've: 1) dropped her nick and re-registered it, and; 2) also dropped and re-added her vHost.
But these things did nothing. The server still i-lines her.

Thanks in advance.

Incredible! I no more than make this post then find the answer.
in the eggdrop.conf, I had to change:

check-mode-r 1
to
check-mode-r 0

Case closed :)
