Just worked for some time on it today, here's what it looks like right now (not complete at all! the logo was made in like 2 mins so probably going to do something better if the design seems okay)

How to say this in a nice way: I don't like the logo
When ignoring the current top banner there isn't much to say on the rest...
Having a left nav is good, though.
