When I tried to run the make install command in terminal I got this error. Does anyone have any ideas on what is happening.

Apparently during ./Config you told UnrealIRCd to install to /home/java
This is unusual, you should install it to something like /home/java/unrealircd

Run this (and answer the second question correctly during ./Config):

Code: Select all

make clean
./Config
make
make install
Once that works, remove the mess you previously created in your home directory (such as /home/java/bin, /home/java/conf, and so on).
