Hi there !

I'm beginner on using VPS server but not on irc administration and web developpment.
I'v installed Unrealircd on my new server VPS.
Now I'v to do the configuration.
I've few questions please.

1) can I do this on my computer, and, after, transfer it to the VPS ? Or must I only use the consol accès ?
2) I can I do a security copy on my VPS before modify it ?
3) how transfer confi file from server to my computer and to computer tu server ?
3) someone could help me step by step ?

1, configs can be done on your pc and then you can put them into their right place.
2, sure, you can make copies, i would sugged to have a backup all the time.
3, easies to use winscp. there you will have a gui interface. -> google -> winscp
4, i dont think so. if you dont learn or do these things by your self, you will never master it.

winscp is easy enough and the configuration is on the official unreal webpage.

although, you can just go through the example.conf (which should be renamed to unrealircd.conf). it also has hints, default things whould be fine for you at the first time.
