auto channel admin / owner

Post by superpeter »

sorry for my slutted English, however, I translated this with google translate from Dutch.

Hello all.

i have run unrealircd 4 on one server.
and wants to turn eggdrop like bone.
there are several bots on the network that all connect on port 65412
this gate can not be accessed from outside.
now I want everything that comes in through the port 65412 to be automatically in their channel channel admin so that I do not have to create an account for each bot separately, and then that acounts again has to give admin rights in their channels.
is this possible.

and here further on embroidering is it also possible to set then that names with the word ghost can only connect on port 65412?

I would like to hear if this is possible and any tips because I have not been able to find anything yet.
I keep looking through it myself but hopefully someone can give me tips.

greetings: Peter

If you use Anope 2 Services, you can already use 1 nickserv account for many bots,
for instance create a "Bot" account, then simply identify to that account like so: /NickServ Identify Bot <password>

The WHOIS will simply show: <Botname> is logged in as Bot on every Bot you identify to that account :)

Using Anope, you can also group all bot's nick under only one.
