Hi there,

Been having some trouble getting official channels setup on my server. I've created a official channel block as shown below in my unrealircd.conf

official-channels {
"#SpecialChannel";
"#MainChannel";
};

I get no errors when launching the server itself, but neither of the channels are visible in my client (Hexchat). In Hexchat it doesn't seem possible to show channels with zero occupants. Any way to fix this, or should I just use a different client?

Would be grateful for a technical solution or any advice about the topic. Thanx for reading!

Channels with 0 users 'technically' shouldn't exist. So why would a client display them?

The default /list for HexChat is to list channels with 1 or more users. The Official-Channels are there, HexChat is filtering them out. To see the unfiltered list output enter;
