Unreal 5 : Troubles with NickServ identification

Post by CrazyCat »

Hello there,
I know it seems anope related, but I guess it's a changement in Unreal which do that.
I have some users used to connect using my.server:port:nspassword (where nspassword is their password for nickserv). Since I upgraded to Unreal5, it doesn't work anymore, they can't be identified by this way.
And I have the same trouble with KiwiIrc (the deprecated one from https://github.com/prawnsalad/KiwiIRC :D), the nickserv password is no more sent since the upgrade.
I well load the websocket module (type "text"), but nothing changed...

So, what do I wrong ?

And have I to use the new Kiwiirc ?

Well, sasl doesn't work well with my kiwiirc (but I keep it activated) and I finally modify kiwiirc to access to the network pass and use it in my login plugin.
Really bad patch, but it will let me time to migrate to the new kiwiirc :)
