3.2.7 with modules

Post by Oyarsa »

Will the current modules (windows versions specifically) work with version 3.2.7 of Unreal if we upgrade?

If you need a list of the modules we are using I will gladly post them.

I will go ahead and post the ones we are using:

commands.dll
cloak.dll

I am assuming these 2 will not have any trouble and will be included in the new version.

The ones below are the ones I want to know if these will work or not:

m_ircops.dll
m_privdeaf.dll
m_clones.dll
m_staff.dll
callerid.dll
m_allwhois.dll

Thanks

The two you named first will work (ofcourse). The other ones won't. When you would have tried, you would have get this error:

[19:32:30] -ghost.***.***- *** Notice -- unrealircd.conf:46: loadmodule modules/m_privdeaf.dll: failed to load: Module was compiled for 'Unreal3.2.6/NOSPF', we were configured for 'Unreal3.2.7/NOSPF'. SOLUTION: Recompile the module(s).

The solution would be recompiling.

I will be putting up modules on my site possibly later today or tomorrow afternoon (PST).

I have the DLL's already compiled, if anyone needs one urgently, feel free to drop me an email (it's on the module site)
