windows 3.2.7 modules

Post by Oyarsa »

The website for the windows modules state they are updated but after downloading what is on that page and attempting to run Unreal there is an error message that states the module needs to be compiled for 3.2.7

When will the windows version of the modules be available?

X-tab.org should have all 3.2.7 modules currently updated, try clearing your cache for your browser perhaps, if that doesn't fix it, please state what module it is you're trying to download.

browser cache has been cleared.
3 different computers have even been used.

http://www.x-tab.org/modules/ does state that the modules have been updated for 3.2.7

but when the official module pack is downloaded the file name is still 3.2.6 and Unreal gives the error to recompile.

The modules that I want are:
m_ircops.dll
m_privdeaf.dll
m_clones.dll
m_staff.dll
callerid.dll
m_allwhois.dll
antirandom.dll

Plus of course any instructions that would come with their use so I can make sure I dont have anything missing out of the config file.

If you notice, the module pack does not come from my site... that is from Syzop's site as he used to maintain those modules. I am unsure about what I will do about the situation of him no longer maintaining modules.

Do not contact Syzop about compiling modules. He is not active on the Unreal project anymore due to medical issues.

Just be patient and wait for me to get around to doing something.

I have compiled and added Syzop's modules. If there are any issues with these, please let me know

Just to let you know I've updated my win32 module pack to Unreal3.2.7.

Thanks Stealth, for the interim solution.

The windows module pack contains an installer that includes all my (free) modules and will install them for you.
Be sure to pick the right version however (type '/VERSION' on IRC to find out).

For version: Type: Date:
3.2.6 Official release 2006-12-27, last update: 2007-01-22
3.2.5 Official release 2006-06-17
3.2.4 Official release 2006-02-04
3.2.3 Official release 2005-03-14, last update: 2005-09-10
3.2.2b Official release 2005-02-06
3.2.2 Official release 2004-10-27, updated: 2004-12-11

only see this

where 3.2.7??

Read the news page on vulnscan.org, I'm sure it'd explain exactly why there's no 3.2.7 (hint: it'd be the most recent news)

EDIT: Also, all the 3.2.7 modules by Syzop are still on my win32 module site. I never updated it to link to the module pack after it was available.
