[Request/Suggestion] Mibbit vs. CGI:IRC

I don't know if this is possible as a module or not, basically looking for a module to take the mibbit hosts passed via Realname, and making them to be the real visible host seen, similar to how CGI:IRC works now.

Don't know how possible, or even how well it could be secured (except by using hostnames/IP addresses from the mibbit servers..), how well this might work.

The better and simpler solution is you contact mibbit and ask them to add your server with a webirc password, and then you add a cgiirc block for them in your servers config using type webirc.

Far simpler, and then the ident will be mibbit NOT the hex encoded IP, and the real name WONT include the host.

With that solution in mind, there is simply NO need for the module you're requesting.

Aha. Thats what happens when I don't look far before asking. For those who also weren't aware/future reference/whatever.. Mibbit's documentation is located http://wiki.mibbit.com/index.php/Enable ... IRC_Server
