is it possible please to have a module wrote that when users type a simple command it will private message them a list of the top 10 channels on the server ?
i am thinking of clients like Chatmosphere etc that do not have the /list command available to them so that they can at least see the main rooms.
or would that be an anope module ??
i'm on unreal 3.2.8.1 with anope 1.8.5
channel list module for clients that dont have list command
Re: channel list module for clients that dont have list comm
Something as /quote list ?
Most of the commands are alias to /quote "command", no need of a module.

Re: channel list module for clients that dont have list comm
It should also be noted that the /list command is required by RFC1459. If you have a client that doesn't have it, complain to the dev team and/or switch clients. the /list command is *not* optional and the client in question is in non-compliance.

Re: channel list module for clients that dont have list comm
many thanks for the reply katsklaw and crazycat
the clients in question were the mobile phone clients like andchat , rooms, chatmosphere (blackberrys) and a few of the other clients like the mibbit app (not full mibbit) that have extremely limited commands.
that link gave me some very useful info katsklaw and that /quote list .. looking at /debug @debug turned up some interesting info too
much appreciated. thanks
