Quotas on Gentoo for Sendmail users

I have posted in all Gentoo forums and no user gives me a correct answer. There is my problem :

To increase the mailbox space of a sendmail user, does it depend on the operating system or of the own sendmail? I've tested with setquota , editquota and nothing. Could anyone of you tell me how can I make this?

Creating a file named with your user and re-configuring quotas

Now I don't have any quota in my mail

PD : No tengo el Gentoo ***NO LO VAYAS A BORRAR*** que me hace falta. Estaba trasteando en el correo para quitarme la cuota de buzon y ya di con el pedrusky.
