I think I'm not the only one who thinks so.
We ran 3.1.6-Noon for over 500days, it still runs nicely right now. We use 3.1.x since 2000; what happened to it?
I think 3.2 config file really sucks (500LOC for what?) but that's not the problem.
I don't understand why you are not providing an historic archive at all, with any occasional bugfix, as happens even for kernel 2.0!!!
Unreal 3.2 it's fully-featured, but maybe you have users who are really liking YOUR previous WORK, and may appreciate you to give at least a name and a link of it.
Unreal 3.1.x rulez, why did you discontinue it?

200+ resolved bugs @ http://bugs.unrealircd.org/ is probably why :P
It's as making a comparison between MS-DOS && Windows || *NIX. when I worked on MSDOS everything was perfect, didn't want to know anything about Windows neither *NIX. But now I recognize that it's to refuse the development. If you want to keep your version, well . .. . you will have to make a great work with the security, that, without thinking of the comforts that you lose with 3.2.* upgrades.
I don't understand why there are people that still using ircU(ej : irchispano ) Personally, lacks a lot of comfort. They have to be programming bots for a single function that unrealIRCd comes negotiating from their 3.2.1 version.
My advice : upgrade it and you'll see you change your point of view and opinion.
