Why do we want /samode to hide who used it?

Where else would the mode change come from without coming from the opers nick, and bearing in mind that when a mode change for a channel is received by another server from a user who is an oper and isnt an op on that channel, the other servers send override server notices.Shining Phoenix wrote:Why do we want it to do that?
