I use Googel Apps (they have a free package). They provide you with mail, calendar, and docs for your domain. They also tell you how to configure your DNS to use your domain with each service (for example mail.yourdomain.com). The best part is the mail can be downloaded with almost any mail client. http://www.google.com/apps/

Based on the signature, and the fact he dug up a thread about 9 months old, I'd say bencummings' post looks more like spam then legit :|
