What is this communities stance on Subversion being the VCS of choice for upcoming UnrealIRCD releases? I personally think it would be easier to maintain the repositories with it versus CVS, hg, mercurial, etc.

The current version control system used for Unreal development is Mercurial (hg) the old CVS repositories are no longer used.

As for my personal opinion, I feel Mercurial (hg) is better then subversion for VCS mainly due to the fact that subversion limited in comparison by way of what they can both do with repositories.

Out of interest why exactly do you feel subversion is better then Mercurial? or is it just as it just a lack of understanding of how to use Mercurial, which was what made me prefer subversion until I had learnt how to use Mercurial?
