there is a program out there that makes ascii color art. for art shows in irc. you can use it for the motd too. the color seems to be supported by most irc clients that allow color motd's. I have to look on my cd's or find it again. I haven't used it for a few years. but the program lets you create or edit motd/art and add color lines to wherever you need to. then it will let you preview it in its own preview window. when I find it again. I will let you know.

the proogie I just remembered the name. it is called popedit. It says color for mirc and pirch. but if I remember right. it shows color motd's on other clients as well.
