Request: Login requirement to connect to server 3.2.3
Request: Login requirement to connect to server 3.2.3
I'd like to see a module made that requires a username and password before even getting access to the server. Something like a simple query/response/authenticate add-on so I see how restricting access by a nickname and password works for keeping the idiots out of a small network I'm helping out with. Would also be a great security add-on, IMHO. Could anybody help out with this?

password (optional)
Require a connect password. You can also specify an password encryption method here.
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
Request: EDIT TO LAST REQUEST
Can I have a simplified implementation? Like a simple database with just registered usernames and passwords for editing?

This is one made by AngryWolf. I have no idea if it will work with Unreal 3.2.3 http://www.angrywolf.org/userauth.tar.gz
but anybody can give anybody the password. I want a required login system that I can control per user.Matridom wrote:http://www.vulnscan.org/UnrealIrcd/unre ... allowblock

I've gotten it, I'm also wondering if there's a windows version available? I have no inux experience, I'm just getting this for another operator I'm helping. I'm pondering running as a support server for that network, but I'm limited to windows due to Linux knowledge.Stealth wrote:See my previous post.
