No Route To Host/Connection problem

Post by Chain »

I am running unreal on a linux box(centOS4) in a school so that they can have a chat server to talk on about homeowrk or any school problems.. stuff like that.. anyways I ./unreal start and everything works fine and I can connect to the chat ONLY with the computer thats running it. If I go to a different computer and type in the address then it says there is no route to host. The linux box is set up to have a public static IP address. On the linux box where the ircd is running, i can go into xchat and type in the ip address of the machine and go right to it... but not on any other machine. Has anyone had this problem before? Or is there something I am missing to tweak in the .conf??

Did you open the port in the firewall? :?:

Well then... open the port your server is listening on... (e.g. 6667)
