Unable to create file

hi,

I have a strange problem and I do not know what that is loose.

here is the problem:

[15:03:07] -irc.blabla.net- *** Notice -- Loading IRCd configuration ..
[15:03:07] -irc.blabla.net- *** Notice -- error: Unable to create file 'tmp/F74FF7A.cloak.dll': Invalid argument
[15:03:07] -irc.blabla.net- *** Notice -- unrealircd.conf:2: loadmodule modules/cloak.dll: failed to load: The indicated module was not found.
[15:03:07] -irc.blabla.net- *** Notice -- error: IRCd configuration failed to load

perhaps someone has a premonition of you...

If you're doing this on Linux, you shouldn't be loading .dll's but .so's

i use windows xp

the problem was after a newstart away. but after a time was the same problem again.

Did you move the directory while it was running?
Or change the permissions?

copy your .conf and reinstall unreal is the easiest solution to most problems unrelated to the configuration on windows.
