Post by b0rk »

Hello today, the server went down, when i started it again

the +b mode doesn't seem to work now, nor does the +R?

any known reason for this?

Could you give us some more information? What do you type? What is the reply? Is there an error? Which error?

There is no error...

when i want to ban someone it puts +b mode on that ip+nick..

but when i come to rejoin the channel it lets me straight back in, but when i come to change my nick on the channel it says (#england Cannot change nickname while banned on channel)

I had the SQLmod setup yesterday which szyop made

would that have anything todo with it?

thanks again.

The command given is like : /mode #channel +b nick!ident@host/ip (Or more commonly used: /mode #channel +b *!*@host/ip)?

OK, firstly, are you /oper'ed when you can join past +b or +R?
Secondly what IRCd modules do you have loaded?

Just for your information, no one here is obligated to help you. In this case no one is responding, this can have 3 causes:

- No one knows the solution for your problem;
- It's a too easy problem to tell how it should be done (generally non-docs reader);
- The people knowing the solution haven't read this topic (yet).

Just wait for someone to help you solve the issue. ;)

Yes, I agree with Casper.. you should be patient and if noone helps you so be it it.

Secondly, as far as I know log modules (which log PMS/channel messages) are not supported. And if you have any problems with a module (which seems to be the case here as you mentiont yourself) you should contact the maker even if he/she isn't active for a while.
