for some reason i can create an access list
i tried
/msg ChanServ set #channel accesstype acces
i get the message
Code: Select all
-ChanServ- Unknown SET option accesstype.

Perhaps you should follow the instruction given by ChanServ.

Also, I think this kind of issue of IRC services is more a question for their dedicated forum.

how do you enable the access list on UnrealIRCd for example
.access add Simon_Hind 10
instead of using
/msg ChanServ ACCESS #channel ADD Simon_Hind 10
is there a mod or something

There is no such access list command in Unreal. Please read the "configuration" link in my signature to find out what all Unreal can do.

They have customized their software quite a bit. It's possible to have an /access alias pointing to services easy enough, examples of that are in the aliases directory as well as example.conf aliases section. As far as .access, that's something totally different with a custom services module monitoring channel traffic and then the command must be typed in channel.
