Immunity from target flood protection

Post by prairiehat »

Hello folks

I suspect I know the answer is no, but wanted to check with the wise UnrealIRCd community first before writing the option off ...

Can certain users be immune from /msg #2925B8 1|2420f7ba00a6041bb9569c821e4b5fe4|ATTENDINGEMERGENCY|334ca6a4-abec-40c2-9684-82b19bf90001|customalert.default|70A7D7FA0F9F|S-1-5-5-0-130637|green finch|-1|-1|S-1-5-5-0-142307|bullfinch|boss|boss|Null:Null|Null|Null:Null|Null||
-protection? That is, I have a select few users that I want to whitelist to allow them to send a high volume of messages to another user. I want to configure UnrealIRCd to say these only these special senders are allowed to behave this way.

Thanks in advance

No, not at the moment. So you have two/three options:
1. Make these users IRCOps (they are exempt), or
2. Disable target flood protection, or
3. Set the target-flood limit higher
I would go with #2 or #3 if i was you, see target-flood.
