oper channel mode module
i need a module or just some example code on how i could make another mode like op or voice. i want the module to be ircop only (which i can do). the mode wont have any privlliges like op and voice do; itll just be to show that their an oper.
...
There really isn't a need for this. If people need to find operators, they can use /who 0 o, or some other method... (I once saw a client that could highlight opers in the nicklist... can't remember what it was, but I'm assuming it worked off of opers having a * in the WHO reply.)
If something like this were implemented, you must take usermode +H (hide oper status to nonopers) into consideration.
Personally, I find prefix modes that give no privileges useless. (DIE CONFERENCE ROOM!) If you have a funny symbol next to your name, it's supposed to actually "mean" something.

I have yet to see an oper part the red river and walk accross the bottom, dodging some rather surprised sharks. [/sarcasm]
