Is there an except kill?

I am looking in the documentation and I see except ban and except tkl. I see except tkl but don't really understnad the need for except ban then unless except ban is a more simple version. But it looks like I excepted my self from all possible kinds of bans. Now is there a way to except from /kill?

No, and I doubt that such a feature would be added.

Angrywolfs netadmins module can stop netadmins being killed by non netadmins or ircops .

the difference between except ban and except tkl is somehow like kline and gline

one form of "except kill" would be no opers and ulines at all
