Only Helpops Channel ... :-)

Post by Glm »

Is it possible to make a module that creates a channelmode that allows only users with usermode +h to join, just like channelmode +O allows only ircops to join?

And if it is possible, can someone create it? :D

Not really, because when you get +h you get IRCop too.

+h or helpop also comes with aop in anope services . After identifying services sets +rh modes to a user , if he is added in aop/sop list . Sprry if i am wrong :)

Technically Anope should not be giving them +h. Period.

Right.

Hmmm I thought there was a thread on this earlier? Or perhaps I'm confused with bugs.*.. Anyway, if someone just does /mode mynick +G or something they would loose +h instantly due to unreals ("security") checks, so there are quite a bit of problems with anope & helpop stuff... I wonder who invented it ;).
