Well, maybe you are overlooking something... Give us some examples (the more the better) of messages that DON'T get filtered out by the spamfilter.

Well... I think they need some more information. Sounds like a wierd issue.
Are you running more than 1 server linked?
Are all the servers running the same unreal version?
Have you rehashed each server, and done a stats f on them to make sure each server has the same spamfilter?

I wouldnt think it necessary to put the channel name into the spamfilter. If it can run without I would imagine that is better. Is it possible that the users are not actually IN the channel, but sending notices to users in it, things like that could just cause a problem. If its spam, then it should be blocked from every channel anyways.

That may not be your problem, but might help. Worth a shot.
