Oh yes it does - I can get IRC Services and Unreal3.2 working together quite nicely. On Windoze too.

I got Unreal 3.2 & Magick II running ok . Its not a case of unreal not supporting services . They just prefer you to find an install your own.

By the way, link::user and link::host are invalid directive names (link::username and link::hostname should have been written). Secondly, the value of link::hostname is arbitrary (can be * if you don't need a hostmask restriction). And once again: link::bind-ip is useless here, I suggest you to specify a * value for it.

Angrywolf, you point out another reason for my "oh lord"

aquanite, you really should educate them as to how to use their IP in that block...

I was stuffing around and put a * in my services block one day...
My services died and someone connected theirs as a joke. I nearly had a heart attack... :roll: :shock:

AlterServ... that still exists? I doubt it is compatible with Unreal, it hasn't been developed in almost 4 years.
