Is it possible to update from beta 19 to RC2 with a minimal downtime of the daemon?

how do i make updates?

I just created a new directory to install unrealrc2 in. Basically /home/ircd/unrealrc2/bin and /conf . Then I copied over all the .conf files from the old dir to the new one, stopped the old ircd started the new one and done.
