I think when you set a +e mask on a channel and the channel is +i (invite only) that people who match the +e mask on that channel should be able to join the chan. (currently +e = only ban exempt)

Right, invex (+I) is on todo, but it's not clear whether it will make it in 3.2.3 or not (I cannot even say what is more likely ;p).

[sidenote: wining about it and posting things like 'PLZZzz put it in 3.2.3' will not improve this process, to the contrary....]
