Think along the lines of multiple A records for one domain.

ie A irc.blah.org -> 192.168.0.1
A irc.blah.org -> 192.168.0.2

means that a client randomly connects to one.

Not quite sure if i understand the rest of what you're asking :p

The "Me" block has nothing to do with the dns. Each server must have a different name. Then, whatever company hosts your dns would need to have an 2 a records for the same hostname, both records having a different ip.
