+B problem!

hello Unrealircd fans :) ...i have one problem...users set mode +B everyday...that's angry....how i set +B only for Opers?

I take it you mean +b, as in channel bans. Simple answer, you can't.

That you probably could restrict, but you'd need to modify the module. Contact the author and ask them if they can do it for you.

There is restrict-channel-modes...

And just in case you're referring to usermode +B (bot), there's restrict-user-modes for that too.

Even then you can use set::restrict-usermodes, as aquanight said.

dudes...i have use a command +B only for Opers & admins ...not for all users... +B = Bot on the network - not channel mod +b... by the way.. what and where i should write to deny it (+B for users)

--- Setting/removing of usermode(s) 'B' has been disabled. .....thank's a lot man :)) (OffTopic) you're the best....i respect Unrealircd and Hate Hybrid ! i use Unrealircd for 4 years...but this "Restricted Mode" is not write somewhere...


p.s. Dukat ...write me one "PM" and write there your Name & port of your IRCd server...i want to visit it :P

set::restrict-usermodes <modes>
Restrict users to set/unset the modes listed here (don't use + or -).
For example you can set +G in modes-on-connect and G in restrict-usermodes, that way you can force all users to be +G and unable to do -G
