I have two servers both have capacity for 800 clients.class clients r both set at 790 in unrealircd.conf but they r both refusing connections after 500 is reached can anyone suggest a remedy to the prob.many thanks

your max hard read on your server might be 500 or you might set max read during ./Config to 500 .
