Hi guys,

i have setup unrealircd on my local server and all seems to be running smoothly, i can connect via mIRC with no problems.

I am trying to use a flash based irc client though, and i'm having a couple of problems.

The main one at the moment is that the connection is displaying as 'unknown' in the status.

What would cause a connection to be classed as unknown?

Presumably one that isn't sending proper PASS | NICK + USER / SERVER messages on connection, in other words that flash client probably sucks
