WIN32 <-> notices?

[04:21] -> *Nickserv* set msg off
[04:21] *NickServ* Services will now reply to you with notices.
O_o are services screwed or is it the win32 server ?

Do you have any modules loaded? (other than commands and cloak)

What services are you using?
Cause it looks like your setting an option in the services.

it works when i change to a *nix based server..

The most likely possibility here is you have webtv support enabled and have usermode +V. In this case ALL NOTICEs to you are turned into PRIVMSG. Try removing usermode +V (/mode yournick -V) or disable webtv support.

i dont have umode +V and all servers have webtv support enabled, so i cant the problem...

There are no servers in the network that have the UMSG (m_umsg) module loaded?

You checked with /remote off I hope? ;)
So just to be clear.. if you '/notice yournick HELLO' yourself then you see it as a notice, but if you try it from a server _1 hop away_ then it becomes a msg? And this remote server (that is directly linked) does not have any other modules loaded besides commands and cloak? (I know I asked for umsg, but there might be others).
And how about the other way around? that you connect to that remote server and that you notice from the original server you were on? etc...
Also, are your ulines are correctly configured? (like: only your services are ulined, not the rest). I don't see how it could be possibly related, but...
And a last one.. all your servers are 3.2.3?

welllllll, yes i did do it with /remote off
and nothing, but lol
*Static X* unloaded the umsg module
when i was checkign the modules now, it ws there, and he said he removed it b4 *doh*
