Can't create bugtracker login

I've had two goes at creating logins - under the usernames Samoth and SamUK - both times I get all the way through the email validation and get to the user prefs editing page - set my password, and then it takes me to the main login page, where I find that my username and password doesn't work - gives me :

Your account may be disabled or blocked or the username/password you entered is incorrect.

I've checked for stupid things like case sensitivity, and if it doesn't like punctuation characters - I've also used the password reset a few times too. All to no avail.

I'm assuming something is broken? :)

Thanks,

Sam.

Well.. I can't do much ;).
All I can say is that your login is enabled, I see failed logins at 2, and I see a md5 checksum as your password. If you are really curious what it is then you can send me both your original password (The autogenerated one) and the new password you tried to set to [email protected] and I'll compare it with the md5sum to see if they match, but.... bleh :p. (or if you have a bit of *NIX/MySQL experience I could just mail you the md5 hash).

I could also just delete both accounts if you want to start all over again, or try a password reset.

Personally, I don't know if there's something wrong with the password change system since I still use my initial password (in fact, I never logout ;p). Perhaps someone can jump in here and say "well, I changed my password and it went fine", then we know ;).

I suggest to do further correspondence via [email protected] or [email protected]

I remember I had a little trouble once when changing my password from the one in the email. Second time changing it worked fine though :) .
